Copperhill Mountain Lodge is located at the top of Förberget in Åre-Björnen, where the road ends. The hotel is 7 km from central Åre and 2.5 km from the center of Björnen. Turn off the E14 towards Björnen and follow the signs to Copperhill. From the E14, it is approximately 4 km to the hotel.
During the ski season, you can easily reach us via the lift system. The Copperhill lift goes all the way up to the hotel entrance. The Björnen ski area is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the winter season (except Christmas Eve), from December 18 to April 19.
You can drive all the way to Åre on European roads. The journey time is approximately 8 hours from Stockholm and 11 hours from Gothenburg.
Car rental
If you are traveling with several people, renting a car can be an affordable option. We offer car rental at Copperhill through Hertz.
Parking space
There is parking directly at the hotel. The hotel's outdoor parking is free for hotel guests, provided that you register your vehicle on the Aimopark screen at the reception upon arrival. The parking garage is subject to a fee. There, you pay according to the instructions on the signs in the garage.
There are daily train departures from Malmö, Gothenburg, Stockholm, and Trondheim. SJ's night train is also a popular option.

From the station in the center of town, you can get around by taxi, rental car, or local bus. To get to Copperhill, we recommend Topp Taxi.

Topp Taxi also offers airport transfers from Östersund Airport.
There are two airports within a two-hour drive of Åre.
Åre-Östersund or Trondheim/Værnes airport. Bus and taxi transfers are available from both airports and you can also choose a helicopter transfer which takes about 15/25 minutes until you land directly at the hotel.

Car
If you have your own car, you can reach central Åre in about 15 minutes. If you need to rent a car, you can do so through Hertz directly from the hotel – book by email: hertz.ostersund@bilbolaget.com.
Taxi
Taxis are a popular and convenient option for transportation between the hotel, central Åre, and other parts of the destination. We recommend Topp Taxi. The reception desk will be happy to assist with reservations.
Ski bus (winter season)
During the winter season, SkiStar's ski buses run between the ski areas in Åre. The lines that pass Björnen are 702 and the evening bus 704. Timetables may vary between seasons – check current times via SkiStar's timetables. The buses are free of charge with a valid SkiStar ski pass. The ski bus can be reached from Björnen's center, which you can walk down to.
