A colorful green season premiere for Copperhill Mountain Lodge

Sami-inspired autumn holidays, voyages of culinary discovery and art weekends – all these are part of Copperhill Mountain Lodge’s new investments in the spring and autumn seasons. The hotel will be open at the weekends in May and for the entire autumn from 12 August. There will be seven different weekend packages and an expanded spa.

After completing two winter seasons, it is now time for Copperhill Mountain Lodge to make its snow-free premiere. In order to attract guests, the design hotel is investing in themed experiential packages that are adapted to the changing seasons. When the autumn colours are at their peak, the hotel will organise mountain walks with a guide, and as the nights draw in there will be artistic, culinary and spa activities.

“We see a great deal of potential in the green season. There is so much to do in Åre, whatever the time of year, and with Copperhill as a base the accommodation is an experience in itself. The natural world starts right outside the hotel entrance and indoors we organise activities for both young and old. To make things easy for our guests we have created all-inclusive packages, even including transports at the destination,” says hotel director Pernilla Gravenfors.

Copperhill Mountain Lodge will be open for the entire snow-free season, with the exception of June and July when the hotel closes for building work. This will include extending the hotel’s award-winning spa, so that the hotel is better able to meet the demand for spa treatments.

”We have been strengthened by an excellent winter season, where both our capacity utilisation and finances have exceeded expectations. We are only closing the hotel in June and July because we want to be able to provide quality assurance for the guests. The spa will be extended, so if we were to remain open during construction it would have a negative impact on the guest experience,” continues Pernilla Gravenfors.
